Monitoring and evaluation

Three examples of our monitoring and evaluation work are given below. The first was the foundation on which Renewal Associates was built.

Nationwide. Regional Auditor (with Victor Hausner) for the Government's Inner Cities Initiative (1988-1991). Evaluation of over forty regeneration initiatives in urban stress areas covering enterprise promotion, minority exclusion, employment and training, workspace development, community development, capacity building and many other aspects of regeneration, identifying best practice and impact enhancement.

Preston Task Force. Evaluation of Preston Task Force, a three year small area initiative tackling linked economic and social development. Measurement of performance against an Action Plan, identifying good practice for replication elsewhere and failures to be avoided.

Coventry and Warwickshire. Evaluation of Coventry and Warwickshire SRB training programme comprising thirty-five projects working with the most disadvantaged communities and excluded people in the county. Identification of performance against projected outcomes, good practice, and issues to be resolved.
