Social inclusion




Almost all of Renewal Associates' work involves social inclusion.
Three specific jobs are given below as examples.





L1 Partnership, Liverpool. Development of a "whole household" approach
with a community employment officer working with households suffering
multiple problems preventing engagement in training and employment. The work
entailed jointly devising a methodology to deal effectively with a case load of
up to 100 households.


Chinese community, Merseyside. Evaluation of the Chinese Employment and
Training Project, a European Social Fund sponsored project which provides 
appropriate, customised support for Chinese people excluded from
mainstream employment and training provision including recommendations
for fine-tuning delivery of the project.


St Helens. Evaluation of the St Helens Learning Gateway and Gateway Link
which provide intensive and extensive support for young people excluded
from training, employment and other services because of their circumstances 
and problems, with recommendations for further development.
